Cochrane RCMP were called to the school on Stoney Nakoda First Nation just before 7 a.m. on April 12 after receiving a report of a man having driven a blue Hyundai through the building’s east entrance.
Security video showed the vehicle being driven through several hallways in the school. The building received extensive damage, estimated at a value of more than $150,000.
One man was arrested but his name won’t be released until charges are sworn, according to police.
An investigation is ongoing and a search warrant remains pending.
