Largest supermoon of 2019 will shine above Canada tonight

Don't forget to look up tonight and witness the biggest and brightest super moon of 2019.

The moon, also called the Super Snow Moon, will illuminate Tuesday night's sky as the moon is both full and at its closest distance to Earth.

The super moon tonight is the second of three super moons this winter and will be the brightest of the trio.

Of course, a cloudy sky will dampen the impact of the bright moon but if it is clear or at least partially clear you can experience the full illumination.

Does it look like you will have cloudy weather tonight? If so, you can catch a live broadcast of the super moon from the Virtual Telescope Project in Rome, Italy.
