History will be made when an NHL game is broadcast in the Plains Cree language.

 

The game, which will be broadcast in the Cree Language, will feature the Montreal Canadiens and the Carolina Hurricanes, it will air on Rogers Hometown Hockey on the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network.

The event will also come on the same weekend that Rogers Hometown Hockey stops at the Enoch Cree Nation near Edmonton.
