Some of the events for Aboriginal Awareness week includes Realm Between Reality & Spirit: June 21 - General Admission is FREE for everyone. 

June 21 (3:00 -5:00 PM): General Admission is FREE for everyone.
University of Calgary’s Campfire Chats – listen and learn from Indigenous leaders about the Buffalo Treaty. Featuring Dr. Leroy Little Bear, Dr. Tasha Hubbard and Marie-Eve Marchand. Running from 3:00 -5:00 PM, preceding the night of Indigenous science.
June 21 (5:00 - 10:00 PM): General Admission is free for everyone.
Powwow Mechanics, emceed by Hal Eagletail. Learn the science and history of different powwow dances.
A conversation with the cast and crew of Blackfoot Skies: Makoiyosokoi (an upcoming 360-degree Indigenous-led film production).
The Young Warriors Drum group.
Indigenous Art Market.
A bows and arrows demo by Stoney Youth, partnered with a flint knapping demonstration.


'The Indigenous Art of Sound': June 24 & 25

June 24 (5:00 - 10:00 PM): ‘The Indigenous Art of Sound’
Hip hop performances by Many Nations, One Voice for Wellness and LightningCloud.
IndigeSTEAM robots and drones.
Indigenous Art Market.
The widely acclaimed production of NEW BLOOD blends Blackfoot music and contemporary music to create an amazing piece of theatre celebrating Blackfoot history and traditions.
Guests are invited to learn about caribou tufting led by Métis artist Janis Laboucane.


General Admission on June 24 (ALL DAY) starts at $19 or is included with a Spark Membership, and is FREE for First Nations, Métis and Inuit people.
June 25 (9:00 AM - 10:00 PM): ‘The Indigenous Art of Sound’
Hip hop performances by Many Nations, One Voice for Wellness and LightningCloud.
IndigeSTEAM robots and drones.
Indigenous Art Market.
Round Dance featuring world renowned singer Chubby Cree and emcee'd by Douglas Bonaise, with Darcy Goodrunning handling all of the stickman duties.
Experience a fish scale art workshop lead by Moonstone Creation.
