New charges laid in the death of Tia Blood

34 Year old Tia Blood went missing on Octobert 19, 2022 and her body was found five days later southwest of Coalhurst

 

A man is facing additional charges in the relation to the death of a 34-year-old Indigenous woman in Lethbridge County in October.

Tia Blood was reported missing on Oct. 19, 2022 and was found dead on Oct. 24.

Hunter Alexander Frank has been arrested in relation to the investigation and is facing charges of offering an indignity to human remains and two counts of theft under $5,000.

He is also facing charges of manslaughter and trafficking a controlled substance.

Frank was remanded in custody and will appear in Lethbridge court on February 13.
