Calgary's Calaway Park will open it's doors on June 12th

The park is sold out of all tickets for this weekends opening.

Calaway Park will be opening it's doors to guests this weekend after Alberta Health Services gave them the green light.

The amusement park located just west of Calgary will have their entrance capped at one-third of the park’s capacity. It will open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. that weekend, before opening daily for the summer with the same hours beginning June 19.

The park initially had plans to open their doors a week before on June 5th, however ASH said the exemption granted to the park almost a year ago wasn't valid.

Here is GM Bob Williams discussing their re-opening.

Day tickets must be purchased online in advance, and a health screening will take place prior to admission. Physical distancing will be required in the park, including in queues, and mask use will be required including on most rides. You can find more details on admission by visiting their webpage.
