A new Scholarship available for Indigenous students pursuing a STEM program

The City of Calgary and the The City of Calgary Society of Professional Engineers (CCSPE) is now offering a scholarship to Indigenous students that are pursuing the Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics Program (STEM).

Bird says that the City of Calgary is taking the step towards being inclusive and would like to see more engineers with Indigenous backgrounds within the industry.

Bird is encouraging all Indigenous students that are wanting a career in the STEM program to apply for the $1,000-dollar Scholarship.
