3rd Annual 'Every Child Matters' game details announced by Calgary Hitmen and Siksika Health Services

The Calgary Hitmen and Siksika Health Services held a press conference on Jan 11 at Scotiabank Saddledome to announce the 3rd annual "Every Child Matters" hockey game, which is set to take place on February 4 at 2:00 p.m.

The Calgary Hitmen vs The Edmonton Oil Kings game will be broadcast in Blackfoot across Southern Alberta on 88.1 CJWE

Tyler White, CEO of Siksika Health Services and Calgary Hitmen Vice President/Governor Mike Moore spoke with CJWE following the official announcement.

White and Moore talk about Lucy Wright, a family relative of Margaret Badboy, a Siksika Nation member who made impacts in children's lives through her teachings and preservation of Blackfoot culture and Language, where her story will be highlighted during the game.

White and Moore say that with the commentary coverage being provided by CJWE, it will bring conversation and excitement with sharing the Blackfoot Language on Feb 4.
