A pipe burst Monday afternoon at the University of Calgary, as students were travelling between classes causing water to spray down from the ceiling.
The U of C says a sprinkler line break occurred in the link between Science A and Science B.
Calgary fire responded to block off the area and ensure staff & Students safety. No one was injured.
The leak comes during Calgary’s chilliest day in over a year, with the coldest wind chill values ranging between -40 and -45 C.
Classes are scheduled to resume Tuesday morning.
