Alberta Premier Rachel Notley will receive a Blackfoot name during the Lethbridge International Peace Pow-Wow.
It's the first time in it's 20 year history that a sitting Premier will be attending and taking part.
In addition to the Blackfoot name, Premier Notley will also be presented a headdress and be officially recognized by the Blackfoot community.
That name, however will not be revealed until the ceremony on Saturday when Notley is expected to take part in the Grand Entry.
The International Peace Pow-Wow, put on by the Blackfoot Canadian Cultural Society, takes place at the ENMAX Centre Saturday and Sunday (Feb. 23-24).
