The University of Lethbridge has launched a national short story contest.
"Canada’s richest short story fiction writing award" will be known as "The Bridge Prize."
It's a writing competition to be given out every second year, and is open to any student registered in a Canadian post-secondary institution.
The focus is to celebrate excellence in the literary arts.
Deadline for the first intake of submissions is January 20, 2020, with a prize of $7,500 up for grabs.
