A 24 hour Crime prevention hotline is now in operation, on the Siksika Nation.
The community has faced multiple complaints from the public in recent years about drug and property crime.
The 24-hour hotline will give Siksika community members direct communication with local RCMP that is strictly confidential.
The hotline was designed to enhance community member involvement and trusting communication with Gleichen RCMP.
Siksika Nation members can report criminal and drug activity by leaving a message at 403-901-7849.
RCMP will review calls and messages on a daily basis.
We are proud to introduce the Crime Prevention Hotline for our Nation Members to report drug and/or criminal activity. Please see community notice for more information. pic.twitter.com/fz10wvq4SY— Siksika Nation (@Siksika_Nation) March 11, 2019
