Saskatchewan singer has written a new song, raising awareness about MMIWG



Fishing Lake First Nation's Mitch Daigneault has written a new song, to raise awareness about missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.

Daigneault says the idea behind his song "Red Dress" came after a young women from Saskatchewan went missing.

Ashley Morin was last seen in North Battleford on July 10, 2018.

Daigneault hopes the song can provide a little bit of comfort.
