Kevin’s body of work is an interpretation of things seen, heard or experienced through travel, cultural and spiritual ceremonies. Incorporating themes of humility, forgiveness, and courage, Kevin’s organic and shape-driven body of work allows each piece to tell its own story.
Kevin started out sketching and drawing when he was younger, and now paints in acrylics.
All his paintings represent his perceptions, beliefs, and experiences of the Creator, of life, and of his family and friends. The animals he paints can represent people, spirits, beliefs, thoughts, emotions, and life experiences.
Windspeaker Radio spoke with the artist about growing up in Northern Alberta, his recent art piece in Calgary, and the visions he has for future work!
