Anson McMaster, who plays for the WHL's Winnipeg Ice will play his first game back down south vs the Calgary Hitmen tomorrow night
There will be more than 100 friends and family from Siksika Nation cheering on Anson McMaster tomorrow night.
Anson who spent his childhood in Siksika and played most of his junior hockey down south will be playing back home for the first time since joining the WHL's Winnipeg Ice.
Even in Manitoba Anson feels the support from his parents, and his mother Mandy RunningRabbit says his family is incredibly proud of his journey.
Mandy said Anson is shaping up to be a great role model for his community.
