Restaurants, bars and hair salons have been given the all-clear to reopen on May 25.
Alberta Premier Jason Kenney has given the green light to partially open Calgary's business district.
Kenney announced that starting Monday, May 25, restaurants, cafes, Salons, Barbershops and bars will be permitted to reopen for dine-in table service, as long as they are limiting capacity to 50% and following health and safety guidelines with enhanced protocols.
Businesses must maintain a physical distance of two metres between clients and customers.
On May 14, most regions in the province moved forward with Stage 1 of the relaunch plan, however, the Calgary and Brooks were held back due to their high number of COVID-19 Cases.
On June 1, day camps will be allowed to open with restrictions, post-secondary institutions will be able to offer summer classes with caps on participants, and there will be expanded capacities for funeral services and places of worship.
