Dairy Queen's across Canada are whipping up blizzards of all sizes in support of regional Children's Hospitals

" Miracle Treat Day is a fantastic initiative and a day all the staff love to participate in, all funds that come in that day from the sale of our blizzards go directly to Children's Hospitals to fund the various the projects that they have going on"

Thursday August 8 is Miracle Treat Day at Dairy Queens across North America and all net proceeds from each DQ blizzard treat sold will be donated to local children’s miracle network hospitals, which raises money and awareness for 170 children’s hospitals across North America.

The money raised benefits organizations dedicated to saving and improving lives of children, which include the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton and Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary.

More than 10 million sick and injured kids are helped every year.

Miracle Treat Day kicks off this Thursday at 10 a.m. and goes until stores close
