Ojibwe Defensive Tackle signs with NFL's Cleveland Browns

Ankou originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Houston Texans out of UCLA. He appeared in 11 games with the Jaguars and posted 19 tackles and 1.5 sacks

The Cleveland Browns have a new defensive tackle on the active roster.

The team signed Ottawa, Ontario Native Eli Ankou to the 53-man roster.

The 6'3, 325 pound Ankou, who is Ojibwe, had spent the past three seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Every summer, Eli also runs a free dreamcatchers camp for football players in Ottawa.
