May 20, 2020, marks the one-year anniversary of the evacuation of the Town of High Level due to the Chuckegg Creek Wildfire
A new exhibit highlighting the events of the fire last spring is now on display at the Mackenzie Crossroads Museum and Visitor Centre.
The exhibit was intended to be the centerpiece for a town-wide celebration on the anniversary of the evacuation. However, due to social distancing protocols, the museum is currently closed to the public.
In an effort to bring the exhibit to local residents, the experience has been moved online.
