Buffy Sainte-Marie folk song featured on Quentin Tarantino movie soundtrack

The soundtrack, which also features Simon & Garfunkel, Neil Diamond and Deep Purple, was released on July 26


The soundtrack for Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" features a song by Saskatchewan-born artist Buffy Sainte-Marie.

Sainte-Marie, who was born on the Piapot First Nation in Saskatchewan, sings her 1967 song "The Circle Game

The 78 year old has won Junos, a Polaris Prize, a Governor General's Performing Arts Award and has been inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame.

The cast for "One Upon a Time in Hollywood" includes Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt.



The tracklisting also includes more than 20 select works from 1960s Hollywood.
