Accident near Strathmore claims life of Siksika teenager

Police have not released the cause of the crash

 

A single vehicle crash near Strathmore Tuesday morning has claimed the life of a teenager from Siksika Nation.

RCMP say the vehicle was heading east on a township road when it hit the ditch and rolled several times just after 5am.

One of the occupants, a 17 year old boy, died at the scene.

Three other occupants were taken to hospital in Calgary – one by STARS air ambulance and the other two by ground ambulance.

All are believed to be in stable condition.

Mounties are still investigating the cause of the collision.
